Tuesday was Rosie's 23rd birthday. Yay!! We went shopping at Target and Alden came up and we went to a lecture thing for Rosie's art history class and then to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner. It was great seeing Alden again, and Rosie's friend Kristi is just hilarious. It was just a nice day. I'm so glad, too, cause Rosie really deserved to have a nice birthday.

Rosie and I went up to Keystone and Breckenridge Saturday for ice skating and shopping. We had a ball skating, and then spent the rest of the day wandering in and out of shops. We fully intended to be back in Ft. Collins by that evening, but the weather had other ideas. It started snowing horribly and it took us twice as long to get halfway back as it had to get all the way there that morning.  There hadn't been any snow in the mountains east of the continental divide on our way up, either, and there was 6 in on the ground the next day. We stayed in the town of Idaho Springs, and were very lucky to get the last room at a cute little inn. Overall, it was quite a fun time  , though I would've liked to have had a toothbrush and paste and some shampoo that night at the hotel.

So these basically suck cause they're so small cause I had my camera on Low Res without realizing it, but oh well. I drove down to Denver this weekend, and hit 99700 miles on my car on the way...gettin close to the big 100-thou. I got a new shirt that day, too, that just kicks ass, and thus deserved a picture. And, lastly, I got my hair cut and dyed again, and I love it! Too bad you can't see it very well, but I'm sure there'll be other pictures soon, so deal til then.

So I went to the annual dinner for the Windsor Chamber of Commerce Wednesday evening, and Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald (the doctor from Emergency Vets) was performing his comedy routine. He's a hilarious comedian, but I might be a tad biased b/c most of his jokes involve veterinary medicine in some way.  Anyway, in addition to getting a free meal, getting to meet a doctor I idolize, I was also offered a HUGE chance from said doctor, a chance to shadow Dr. David Kenny, the head veterinarian at the Denver Zoo!!  I'm sure there will be pics up here when that happens, and that will hopefully be soon. SUCH a huge opportunity for me.

Daddy, Rosie, & I went down to the 16th street mall and had dinner at Old Chicago. They have fireworks every year and there's always TONS of people. Twas a good time.

Mom and I went with Rheda and Kerry to Winter Park on the ski train Monday. It was way fun! We went shopping all over town and had a ball. These pics are from when we were sitting in Starbuck's cause we had no other warm place to go to wait for the train to come back and we were really bored. Waaaaay too much fun was had.  It's nice to be goofy with your mom sometimes.
